Four North Carolinians killed in fatal car wreck

Losing a loved one is never easy. Yet, it can be even more devastating to lose a loved one to a senseless, avoidable accident. The shock of a car wreck fatality, for example, can be life-shattering. Surviving family members can be left with an emotional hole, knowing that they are unable to hug their loved one again or see him or her smile. Additionally, a surviving family may be left with financial hardship after such an incident. They might struggle to pay medical expenses, funeral costs, and to find a replacement for their loved one's lost wages.

Sadly, multiple North Carolina families may be facing this situation now after four individuals were killed in a car accident. The crash occurred near Pinetops when a vehicle cross the center line and hit an oncoming vehicle head-on. A two-year-old and a teenager were amongst those killed. The other two fatalities were a 45-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man.

After losing a loved one to a car accident, legal action may be the last thing a surviving family thinks about. After all, they have arrangements to make and they need time to grieve. However, by filing a legal claim against a negligent driver who caused a fatal accident, a surviving family might be able to find closure and much needed compensation.

Unfortunately, the intricacies of the legal system can be frustrating, tiresome, and infuriating. Therefore, it is often best for those who have lost a loved one to an avoidable car wreck to seek assistance from an experienced attorney. A competent lawyer can provide the information and guidance needed to put forth the best case possible. Hopefully, with this aid, a surviving family can recover what they deserve and hold responsible parties accountable.
