S\u00f3lo dispone de un tiempo limitado para notificar la lesi\u00f3n y presentar la reclamaci\u00f3n. Si resulta que su lesi\u00f3n no era tan grave, puede optar por desestimar la reclamaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s adelante. Por otra parte, si decide esperar y ver si su estado mejora por s\u00ed solo, puede incumplir los plazos de presentaci\u00f3n y notificaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Los siguientes son pasos importantes que hay que dar\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ic.nc.gov\/claimants.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">tras una lesi\u00f3n laboral<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Obtener tratamiento m\u00e9dico<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Algunas empresas le obligan a acudir a una consulta m\u00e9dica designada para las reclamaciones de indemnizaci\u00f3n por accidente de trabajo o contratan a un proveedor in situ. Otras empresas le permiten elegir su propio m\u00e9dico. Averig\u00fce cu\u00e1les son las normas de su lugar de trabajo antes de acudir al m\u00e9dico. De lo contrario, esto podr\u00eda afectar a sus prestaciones de compensaci\u00f3n de los trabajadores.<\/p>\n<p>Si su empresa le permite elegir a su propio m\u00e9dico, aseg\u00farese de informar al proveedor de que su lesi\u00f3n est\u00e1 relacionada con el trabajo.
